Job Description:

Intermediate Software Engineer required to develop Windows based
products to be used in the configuration of our Fire Alarm and
Emergency Evacuatio Equipment or our Telephone Access Equipment to
match individual building requirements. The successful candidate will
have at least 3 years experience in developing Windows applications
using visual C++ 6.0, MFC 4.2 and Win32 API. He/She will have a good
understanding and knowledge of structured and object oriented
programming. He/She will also have a good knowledge of MicroSoft
Windows operating system internals, an Electrical Engineering/Computer
Engineering or equivalent degree plus good communication skills.
The candidate should be familiar with:
1)Multi-threading
2)Serial communication
3)MicroSoft DAO and ODBC
4)Communicaiton protocols implementation
5)Source code revision control management systems
6)Multi-tear applications development
7)Firmware development issues
Job is location at our head office in Vaughan.
Mircom designs, manufactures and markets a wide range of Fire Alarm
and Emergency Evacuation equipment for the North Amercian Market. We
also design, manufacture and market a complet line of Telephone Access
