Quality Assurance Tester
Responsibilities include:
?Reviewing project design specifications;
?Writing test cases for planned projects based on design specifications;
?Perform quality assurance testing for English language and international
products, including:
- Install/uninstall testing
- Graphical User Interface, Usability testing
- Documentation testing (online help, readme files, user documentation)
- Performance/stress testing
- Localization testing
- Hardware compatibility testing
- Software Compatibility testing
- Regression testing
- CD-ROM media testing
- Configuring hardware and software as required by test plans
Requirements:
?Quality Assurance accreditation;
?Extensive experience with Microsoft Windows (Win 95, 98, 98 SE, ME,
2000, XP);
?Extensive experience with Microsoft Internet Explore and Netscape
Browser;
?Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
?Significant experience with QA testing tools;
?Solid understanding of change management processes;
?Extensive understanding of software development and software product
life cycle;
?Sound understanding of quality philosophies and principles
