Web Content Coordinator Contract
Part-time, four days a week. One-year contract.
FUNCTION:To write/copyedit various print materials and website content and coordinate marketing projects.
Responsibilities::
Ensure that all items on the production schedule for the website are delivered in a timely fashion.
Review the website regularly to ensure all major objectives are being met.
Write persuasive, targeted promotional copy for United Way print materials, including newsletter articles, ads, event materials, brochures and letters, as well as the website.
Copyedit materials to ensure high professional writing standards as well as accuracy and consistency of message.
Manage a number of writing projects from beginning to end, coordinating with stakeholders, securing approvals, and ensuring the project proceeds according to schedule through its various stages of production.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications::
University/college degree (Journalism, Communications, English).
Three years professional writing experience with proven writing, editing and proofreading skills.
Proven interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Highly motivated, takes initiative and can see a project through from beginning to end.
Project management experience, with the ability to multi-task, work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
