Yamaha Canada seeks a web designer/programmer to assist its Consumer Products Division in achieving its online and offline marketing objectives. This individual must be friendly, disciplined and, above-all, creative. Assigned tasks to include regular updates to our sites, working on product mini-sites, supporting e-learning initiatives and assisting with offline marketing activities. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated and organized team player who is able to prioritize and multitask in a demanding, corporate environment. A strong eye for aesthetics and an exemplary grasp of web design concepts, best practices and issues of usability are indispensable. Strong verbal and written communications skills in English are also a must.
REQUIRED PROFICIENCIES
- Coding: HTML; JavaScript
- Applications: Macromedia Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash; Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat; Microsoft Office
- Considered an asset: experience in search engine marketing; fluency in French.
