* looking for strong intermediate to senior level candidate...this position will
work regular business hours while supporting an environment that operates until
midnight and on weekends so candidates must be flexible to support such an
environment as necessary (on a rotating basis)
* Bill rate $50-/hr
* Location - Scarborough
* Proven experience working as a UNIX System Administrator in an AIX
environment is a must proven experience suppporting applications and databases
(DB2, Oracle, Peoplesoft, Webfocus) in a very large environment experience with
DB2 on AIX is a must - this position is supporting an environment with 40 Tb of
data experience upgrading versions of DB2 is a VERY nice to have
* Experience with IBM pSeries is a must
* Knowledge of TCP/IP network is required
* Proven experience providing day to day administration in the areas of user id
management, FILESYSTEM creation/changes, maintaining version releases, licensing
some Windows System Admin skills/knowledge is required excellent
soft/comm skills are required financial industry experience is an asset
