JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Assistant Website Programmer, MINC
Number of positions: 1 (on-site)
Duration of Contract: 6 months, possible extension
Salary: $18-20 per hour, commensurate with experience
Time commitment: 20-25 hours/ week
Project: Music Industry Network Canada (MINC)
Reports to: Information Services Coordinator, MINC

Summary:
Music Industry Network Canada is a groundbreaking website
containing vast amounts of information about the Canadian music
industry. The website is the product of a collaboration with 13
music industry associations working together to plug their
resources into one website.
The in-house assistant website programmer will assist in
maintaining and expanding technical functions contained in Music
Industry Network Canada (www.mincanada.com) by performing the
duties outlined below.
Essential Duties and Repsonsibilities (other duties may be
assigned):
Receives technical direction by lead programmer
Executes technical design implementation of project
Conduct software testing
Provide technical support
Skills Required:
Macromedia Cold Fusion XP
Macromedia Flash v6 (ActionScript & Flash Remoting)
MS SQL Server 2000
