Education: Completion of high school
Experience: 1 - 2 years

Work Setting: Public and private sector mailrooms
Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Specific Skills: Calculate and affix correct postage on letters, parcels, and registered mail, Receive payment from customers, Sort mail according to destination, Bundle, label, bag and route mail into the proper delivery stream, Record special delivery and registered mail, Record and balance daily transactions, Search directories to find correct address for redirected mail
Additional Skills: Operate a computer, Perform routine clerical duties, Answer customer inquiries
