Experience in the curtainwall industry is preferred and your salary will be commensurate with that trade specific experience. If you have not worked in the curtainwall industry you must be very familiar with architectural drawings and be able to read details for the purpose of taking off materials within the scope of work included in our tender package.
Upon completing a takeoff you will be required to prepare quantity lists for all materials and send out to potential suppliers for pricing. You will have good working knowledge of MS Excel as this spreadsheet program is used in the process of organizing material takeoffs and price requests. You must have good English reading and comprehensive language skills.
You will report to the Contract Sales Manager with computer summarized estimated costs. At the time of passing a successful tender on to the Production department, you will also be working with the Production Manager and CAD operators.
