This position is funded by Human Resources Development Canada and as a result only for applicants who are students and registered to continue studies in September 2004.

The Easter Seals Society, Ontario is looking for a self motivated, energetic and hard working individual interested in applying current knowledge and developing customer support and service skills at out Toronto Provincial Office.

The successful applicant will meet the HRDC criteria and have a good command of the English language, written and communication skills as a result of the high need to provide telephonic and one to one user support.

Responsibilities:

Job Description:
Provide user computer hardware and software support.

Primary Responsibility:
Provide support, escalate / resolve computer hardware and software issues for users running Microsoft Windows Operating System and Office Suite software in a network environment.

Other Responsibilities:
Answer phone calls and reply to email requests in a professional manner.
Provide patient, courteous service to users.
Follow processes and procedures that are in place.
Perform PC setup and maintenance, including software operating system and application installation.
Complete documentation of Hardware and Software inventory.
Perform maintenance and administration of office suite applications including anti-virus software and other department-specific applications.
Perform any other duties and support to various projects related to Information Technology as directed by manager.

Skills Requirements:
Good experience using Microsoft Windows 98/NT or 2000 and Microsoft Office Suite. Good written, verbal communication skills and solid interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

Qualification:
High school diploma.
Enrolled and working toward computer related degree / diploma.
