As a Network Administrator, you will install and configure software, hardware and network components. You will help develop a plan of the network and its connectivity. You will ensure stability when changes are made to the software or computer hardware environment.
You will also:
Test and document changes made to the network.
Apply the server's or network's security standards and control access to data.
Manage inventory and software and hardware purchases.
Support the expansion of the network and propose software and hardware that meet the needs of users.
Respect the policies, standards and procedures associated with the information technology field.
Qualifications
Completed three year college diploma in Computer Science or the academic equivalent in a related field
3 years of relevant experience
MCSE and/or MCSA certification
Good knowledge of Windows 2000, Oracle, .NET, Access
Knowledge of the components of Office 2000
Good knowledge of servers
Good knowledge of hardware
Excellent skills in problem-solving
