Principal Function and Accountability:
Establish and define enterprise architecture principles and standards.
 Build, maintain and promote an enterprise view of the IT architectural blueprint and roadmap for MRI's Health and Wellness platform.
 Align IT strategy and solutions with the business strategy and objectives.
 Implement ITIL framework to support MediResource products.
 Responsible for oversight of the MediResource Development group, including mentoring, training and enforcing secure development processes
 Develop and manage budget within area of responsibility for capital investments, sourced services and operational expenses.
 Identify emerging information technologies, assess potential value and determine which should be adopted.
 Provide strategic consultation to business customers in designing business processes, functions and organization structures, as well as in researching, identifying and internally marketing enabling technologies based on business/customer requirements.
 Provide expert guidance and oversight to ongoing technology efforts to incorporate solutions
into organizational culture.
Evaluate and recommend optimization strategies for:
 Data and applications models and management strategies.
 Platform engineering strategies and standard configurations
 Enhancements to overall operations of information technology.
 Influence and guide technology implementation best practices, work through technology challenges faced by the team, and provide solutions.
Essential:
 Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent systems and technical background.
 Experience implementing ITIL best practices
 Minimum 8 years in IT with progressive roles, with 2 to 3 years of management experience
 Healthcare Industry experience is a significant advantage
Desirable:
 Experience with Security Development Lifecycle
 Regulatory experience (PAAB, ASC)
 Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
 Bilingual (French)

Responsibilities
 Plan and manage entire project lifecycles of web, social media or medical writing projects
 Manage production of channels/mini-websites for our health portal network while adhering to health regulatory and portal network guidelines
 Maintain overall quality control
 Ensure search engine optimization of any web projects
 Maintain existing web sites and respond to user and client concerns
 Analyze website traffic and respond to trends and demands
 Maintain client relationships
 Participate in proposal development
 Approach project management from a strategic business perspective
 Provide technical orientation and user perspective
 Other tasks as required
Qualifications
 Minimum of two years experience in planning, executing and managing of development/maintenance projects, preferably in the health industry
 IT related education or experience
 Experience in managing clients
 Ability to effectively communicate and manage internal and external customers, designers, developers, writers and third-party suppliers
 Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects/multitask in a deadline driven environment
 Ability to work in a dynamic environment
 Excellent attention to detail
Desirable Skills:
 Experience in the healthcare industry would be considered an asset but is not mandatory
 Ability to work in French
 ITIL Foundation certification
