Responsibilities
Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of:
·All production equipment
·Building and facilities
·Other capital equipment
Maintain Preventive Maintenance Program documentation
Maintain appropriate spare parts inventory
Selection and supervision of all maintenance staff
Selection and supervision of outside contractors
Maintain compliance with:
·Ministry of Environment regulations
·Building, Electrical and Fire Codes

Qualifications
Required:
Post-secondary diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Electronics field.
Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience.
Strong communication and problem solving skills.
Experience with ISO 9000, building code, Industrial Health & Safety would be an asset
PC skills- MSWord, Excel, AutoCAD

Asset to have:
Previous supervisory experience.
Facility star-up, expansion, relocation, or major renovation.

Core competencies:

o1-2 years experience operating/setting up/troubleshooting SMT machines including printer chip shooters, ovens, AOI inspection.

o2-3 years experience in programming for SMT using CircuitCam, PanaPro, SiplacePro, GcCam, Unicam or similar software packages.

oAbility to create, maintain and improve SMT controlled documentation including process books, feeder setup sheets and assembly drawings.

oExperience in operating/programming automated optical inspection (AOI) equipment.

oClear understanding of SMT component packages and values

Required Qualifications:

oPost Secondary Education or related studies of a Technical background, an asset.

oKnowledge and good understanding of IPC610 standards

oMust have excellent communication (written and verbal), multitasking and decision-making abilities.
