NOTICE OF MASS VACANCY
Position: Database Analyst - Web
Salary: $50,580 - $60,215 (Band 3)
Location: Information Technology, J.W. Singleton Education Centre
Work Schedule: 35 hours/week, 12 months/year
Effective Date: immediately
Qualifications:
A three (3) year Community College diploma in a computer related area and two (2) to four (4) years job related experience is required. The successful candidate must have strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to set priorities and to work with minimal supervision. This person must have experience in web application and database development as well as experience with .Net, Sharepoint 2007, Microsoft SQL Server, MS Reporting Services, and Crystal Reports.
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Supervisor\Database Administrator the Database Analyst will primarily work with the Webmaster and MS Sharepoint Administrator to assist in development and maintenance of our Web Based Applications and Sharepoint environment. The successful applicant will also work with the Database Administrator to support, install and maintain applications and develop reports on the Microsoft SQL Databases. This position works closely with Halton cross-functional teams to implement and support Corporate system applications.
