Our client is a market leader in developing next generation vehicle technologies for powertrain, hybrid, stability controls, and other related systems. They’re currently looking for a Hardware Applications Engineer to join their growing development team. In this position, you’ll both support existing products and work on the development of new systems. To do this, you’ll work directly with customers on refining requirements, directing design engineers during development, do hands-on testing of the hardware, and present the final result to the customer, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
This is a true growth position, with an opportunity to expand your responsibilities into hands-on hardware design work. It will be a great learning experience, offering you the opportunity to grow your skills into new areas. They offer a great long-term opportunity in a true team environment.
Qualifications
BSEE (MSEE preferred) with 3+ years of experience in electronics development (vehicle systems preferred).
Solid understanding of analog and digital circuits/systems, with the ability to do analysis, design reviews, and detailed troubleshooting.
Hands on electronics test experience, working with test equipment such as multi-meters, scopes, logic analyzers, power analyzers, etc.
An education and/or background in power electronics and electric motor drives would be a big plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, a positive attitude, and strong desire to learn are key to performing this job well.

Salary Range: $80,000-100,000/year, based on experience
