Position Overview:
Looking for a .NET Software Developer with proven design skills to join a small, highly motivated team to analyze and translate business requirements into technical specifications, design and develop multi-tier distributed applications in a Windows environment, accurately document and present system designs.
Responsibilities:
• Maintaining and supporting the existing system and processes
• Developing necessary improvements for system performance, availability and reliability
• Coordinate business requirements, perform data analysis, and develop technology solutions
• Performing code reviews to enforce coding standards, code consistency, use of design patterns and adherence to application design
• Following software development standards and guidelines aligned with BeneFACT policies and procedures
• Evaluating and recommending products in support of a solution

Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in software development required gained through work experience or through equivalent coding experience in a non-commercial environment
• Organized and detail-oriented, able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently.
• Good understanding of software development process.
• Able to work effectively under pressure, independently, and within a collaborative team oriented environment using sound judgment in decision making.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in analysis, design and development of window services and enterprise window applications under .NET framework
• Proven problem solving and root cause identification skills including issue from complex software design or .NET framework
• Ability to concisely and efficiently consolidate functional requirements into well documented technical solutions / design
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or demonstrable equivalent coding experience for applications required
• .Net 4, SQL, VB or C#
• Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
• Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)
• Specifically the MVVM architectural pattern
• Windows Desktop Applications
