Division or Project Summary
SNC Lavalin Environment & Water (E&W) is the environmental division of SNC- Lavalin Inc. – a global engineering and construction firm with offices across Canada, in over 35 other countries around the world and currently working in approximately 100 countries. In 2011, MDH Engineered Solutions became a member of the SNC Lavalin Group providing solutions to geoenvironmental, geotechnical, hydrogeological and environmental problems.
Job Description
This position will involve working with an Intermediate/Senior Engineer on a variety of construction projects at the PCS Lanigan mine site. Please note, this is a four month summer position starting in May.
Responsibilities
Participating in various earthworks construction projects;
Conducting tests in the field and or laboratory environment;
Entering and analysing data; and
Topographic or construction surveying with GPS survey equipment (potentially).
Requirements
Valid driver’s license;
A solid understanding of MS Office;
Superior written and oral communication skills;
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as a member of a team;
Exceptional organizational and problem solving skills;
Self motivated and a high level of energy.
Additional Information
