We are looking for a talented .NET software developer to join our product team to bring new features
and functionality to the raisin® product.
Our client has built a state-of-the-art online fundraising event management and donation system
currently used by some of Canada’s top fundraising organizations. Our client’s system empowers
not-for-profit organizations to maximize their online fundraising efforts and reduce costs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Design of UI, business and data access components of ASP.NET-based web applications
according to business requirements and/or under guidance from system architect/team lead.
● Programming and debugging ASP.NET-based web applications according to technical
specifications and/or under guidance from system architect/team lead.
● Creating technical specifications describing functionality and implementation of existing and
new system components.
● Working with QA and technical support people helping them to understand and resolve
technical issues.
● Supervising some development and QA activities as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
● Must have a minimum of 5+ years of relevant Internet application development experience on
the .NET platform, including experience in design and development of UI, business and data
access components for multi-tiered web applications and improving usability of existing
applications with ASP.NET & AJAX.
● Must be able to create technical documentation for existing and newly designed components.
Strong analytical and technical research skills are the must as well.
SPECIFIC SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT SKILLS REQUIRED:
● Programming and debugging ASP.NET-based web applications according to technical
● Microsoft .NET platform (4.0/4.5.1) C#, ASP.NET Webforms, ASP.NET MVC 4, AJAX
● Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012, including creation of stored procedures (medium
complexity).
● JavaScript, jQuery
ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
● Familiar with standard System Development Lifecycle methodologies such as Object-Oriented
Analysis and Design, classic structured Analysis and Design. Exhibit work experience
completing projects through the entire SDLC.
● Proficiency with other types of development tools, languages and database environments
including Microsoft SQL Reporting Services & SQL Management Studio, Crystal Reports,
Telerik controls & Microsoft TFS will be considered an asset.
● The individual should be responsible, self-motivated, energetic, and inquisitive with strong
interpersonal communication and teamwork skills. Clear and concise written and verbal
